servers are co-located at Canary Wharf in a secure machine room
and are monitored and maintained 24 hours a day, with pager warnings
should anything go amiss. We aim for and consistently achieve at
least 99.5% uptime. All our servers are operated using an Uninterruptible
Power Supply and a backup generator ensures that even in a mains
electricity glitch or cut, our servers will keep on running. Our
backbone provider includes full LINX peering, redundancy and massive
throughput. Many web-hosting services operate all their virtual-servers
through a single 256k line. Not us! You can be assured your web
pages will be delivered to your visitors at top speed.
Running our own servers gives us the ability to provide a flexible
service to our clients at a competitive price. We also work in partnership
other web design companies providing hosting and technical support
to the more design oriented companies.

HavNet
are able to offer secure hosting facilities required by sites
that offer on-line ordering using credit cards. Our dedicated
secure server uses SSL so you can provide an e-commerce solution
secure in the knowledge that your customers data is protected
with industrial-strength encryption. Credit card information
can be handled by a 3rd party clearing bureau such as WorldPay
or PayPal, or the card details can be sent to you in the form
of a PGP encrypted email for manual processing.
Our secure hosting fees are always charged in addition to
our other hosting services and can only be used in conjunction
with our Commerce Hosting packages or above.

Additional
POP email accounts can be supplied with any hosted domain.
This eliminates the need for a client to be 'tied' to a specific
service provider as our POP email accounts can be accessed
through any ISP. Up to 255 POP accounts can be applied to
a single domain name, and any number of domains can forward
email to a single POP account.
